Semi-scale wheelsets have a narrow tread profile with fine side contour for a more realistic appearance, especially when used with super-detailed freight and passenger cars. Semi-scale wheelsets work best on most handlaid track and finer brands of Code 55 track sections. Narrow tread wheelsets can drop into wide gauge rails and frogs so be sure to test on your railroad before purchasing large quantities.
