HobbyTech can offer comparable delivery services if available by alternate couriers like Purolator, CanPar, FedEx, UPS and others. Just select the Canada Post service you would normally prefer and we will find a suitable comparable courier service IF REQUESTED. You can add YOUR REQUEST in a text field associated with the Canada Post service. You can also ask for your preferred courier, or notify us of one that does not work for you. If you have not made a request we will primarily ship by Canada Post.
Courier service to NWT and Yukon will be at additional cost. Most other destinations in Canada can be serviced by a courier at comparable rates.

US customers are now required to pay extremely high tariffs on most goods entering the US.
US tariff refers to the import duties and fees applied to goods entering the U.S., which vary based on the product, its country of origin, and recent policy changes. The US administration has recently eliminated its de minimis exemption for most shipments, meaning all shipments may now be subject to taxes and fees including but not limited to brokerage charges. The duties are cost to be paid by the US consumer and must in most cases be paid in advance through the carrier used to import your goods. FOB Origin: The buyer (customer) assumes full responsibility of the goods once it has been picked up by the carrier. We ship world wide with Canada Post* at cost + $4 Handling Charge . Up to 100 CAD (about $80 USD) coverage is included with the shipping. Any shortfall in the event of a loss or damage to your parcel is deemed to be self-insured by you, the recipient. Additional coverage may be available at a cost of $2.80 CAD ($2.00 USD) per increment of $100 CAD (about $72 USD). Please let us know by email that you would like to add insurance and we will add if available on your shipping option before charges are processed.
We do NOT offer Free Shipping. Pick-Up in store is defined as a shipping option and is of course at no charge. As this is the lowest cost option it is also the default by the website. Hence you may see Free Shipping during check-out till you have chosen your shipping option. Shipping by Canada Post will be at a charge.
We pack well to protect your items during transit. Should you want extra padding just let us know. Keep in mind, that will increase the parcel volume and with that also your cost.
*Some countries are excluded by our website as Canada Post with its international partners only offer limited shipping options. However, you may order by email and we will process your order manually. Keep in mind that shipping might be expensive.

US and International customers can complete the shopping cart in USD and pay by PayPal. If you prefer CAD then the payment can only be by Bank Wire (EFT/ACH). If you prefer to pay by Credit Card then select PayPal and use your credit card as the source of payment.
Canadian Customers can complete the order in either CAD or USD currency. If you select CAD then you have the options to pay by VISA, MasterCard or Interac e-Transfer. We also accept EFT/ACH.

The freight trains are unloaded using the massive crane. It lifts even the heaviest containers from a car and stows them precisely in the ship's hold. Everything on board? Well, cast off the lines!

This rerailer consists of a special, curved section of plastic track with guide grooves in the roadbed.
