Prototype:German Federal Railroad (DB) type Fads-50/OOtz hopper car. Used in unit trains to transport ore between Emden and Rheine. Late Era III.
NIB: These cars have not been used. They were acquired by the original owner as a collector item.
NOTE: DC wheel sets are installed in these cars. No charge AC exchange wheels are available on request.

Model: The saddle, frame, and end platforms on the cars are made of metal. The cars have different lettering and different car numbers. The load inserts with a layer of real, scale sized iron ore. The cars are weathered. The cars have NEM coupler pockets with a close coupler mechanism.

Each car comes individually packaged and identified: 24202-01 through 24202-12. (see item description for availability)
AC wheel sets are available: 70 01 50 (Märklin) 4 x per car
Suitable model locomotives for the "Langer Heinrich" are the class 44 coal fired locomotive, item no. 22044, and the class 44 oil fired locomotive, item no. 22043.
