The train make a stunning impression with the detailed fine prints, removable front caps for coupling two multiple units, realistic different road numbers of the cars, all axels powered on both end units, current-connecting couplers between the units and white / red headlights that changes with direction of travel. In a braking zone the power feed of the train is supplied by the trailing end car, so that the train can come to a stop exactly as intended despite braking signals detected by the lead motor car. The elaborate model also has 2 powerful motors with flywheels, one for each cab-end unit. The cabs are lighted, and the passenger sections and each middle car is factory-fitted with interior lighting. The specially designed 20-pin decoder is pre-installed with the PIKO sound module of the latest generation multi format DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola® and Selectrix®. The built-in loudspeaker is precisely matched to the multiple unit. A variety of sounds such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeal and other switchable functions can be activated individually. The mapping of these functions can be modified. The tail light can be separately controlled. Basic engine sound is also possible in analog mode. Due to the prototypical scale design, the ICE 4 model can only be used on R-2 or wider radii!
