Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) diesel locomotive, road number 217 002-5, 3 VTG 2-axle tank cars. The train looks as it did around 2010.

Highlights:
- Locomotive equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder.
- New track with concrete ties.
Model: The locomotive frame is constructed of die-cast metal. It has an mfx/DCC decoder and a 5-pole motor with a flywheel. The headlights change over with the direction of travel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The cars have close coupler mechanisms. The set has a switched mode power pack and a Minitrix Power Control Stick (wireless infrared controller). The set also has an oval of track with Radius 2 curved track (outer dimensions: approximately 90 x 47 cm / 35" x 19").
Recommended board space: 130 x 55 cm / 52" x 22".
Total train length 267 mm / 10-1/2".
This train set can be expanded with the Minitrix track program with concrete ties.
