This set is for collectors or anyone that want to operate Märklin as it was up to the 80's with M-track and analog AC. The power supply is for 120V. The track output to the track is 0V-18V AC (red and brown sockets). The transformer also have output for accessories 18V AC (yellow and brown sockets). The locomotive was manufactured in the 1000s and is extremely reliable and only require basic maintenance like cleaning, lubrication, and spare parts like motor brushes and the slider (pick-up show) depending on the usage.
