What we do not stock is available by special order. N-scale (1:160) is growing in popularity due to its high detailing level, reliability and features like full DCC/sound availability on locomotives just as in larger scales. The class 442 "Talent 2" electric railcars - the prototype for the PIKO model - have been used in DB AG regional service and by private railroad companies throughout Germany since 2011. On a scale of 1:160, the distinctive end sections, the bogie panels, the housings, and the elaborately designed roof section are reproduced prototypically. The propulsion system has been accommodated in such a way that even in the small N scale, there is an almost unobstructed view through the car body and still good driving characteristics are ensured. For the uncomplicated installation of a digital decoder, the railcar has a PluX12 interface. In addition, the model is prepared for retrofitting with sound.

The PIKO model of the 1100 series of the Dutch State Railways NS in N-scale 1:160 is highly detailed with prototypical roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing handlebars and stairs. The model has the right lamp shape, sharply engraved bogie covers with realistic replicas of the spring assemblies and miniatures of the buffer beams that are true to the original. The front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, are designed using LEDs. The Piko motor ensures excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with Next18 interface and is equipped for easy retrofitting of a decoder.

The diesel locomotive NS 2200 in gray-yellow livery in Era III-IV. The model of the NS 2200 features the finest details of the body as well the heavy bogies of American design. The railings, which are very characteristic of this series, are elaborately etched metal parts. Following the proven design principles of PIKO, a motor with a precisely balanced flywheel drives all four axes. The two axles running on the inside are each equipped with a traction tire. The model has a PluX 12 interface and the light changes red/white when the direction of travel changes. This locomotive served pulling freight trains and in shunting service. For that reason, the PIKO model is designed to operate in radii down to 192 mm.
