The PIKO model has sharply engraved bogie panels with realistic spring package replicas and faithful replicas of the buffer planks. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The cab and engine room lights as well as the front and tail lights that function depending on the direction of travel can be digitally switched with the PluX22 decoder. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the engine with two large, precisely balanced fly-wheels ensure excellent handling characteristics and high tensile forces. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability and sound is factory installed.
