This DB AG BR101 is a jack-of-all-trades. The modern design of the locomotive has been recreated exactly. A powerful 5-pole motor ensures a smooth powerful ride. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 is extremely quiet. Two diagonally mounted traction tyres ensures dependable traction. Feature highlight are the installed driver"s cab and driver"s desk lights, Sharply engraved bogies, Brake hoses and sun visors, The single-arm pantographs reproduced with great filigree, The light changes in red/white depending on the direction of travel, using the latest LED technology. In digital mode these functions can be switched separately.
