The striking proportions of the prototype have been perfectly transferred to scale in the model. Detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs are testimony to modern tooling and manufacturing techniques. Powerful mid-engine with its two finely balanced flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics and traction performance, which is further supported by two diagonally arranged traction tyres. The model comes from the factory with maintenance-free LED lighting with direction-dependent light change, as well as a matching PIKO sound decoder, which enables even more prototypical operation on the model railway layout.
