DB Era III print variant. PIKO has taken on a challenge in the new design of the type 42 shortened express train cars and passed with flying colors. The elegant cars are excellently reproduced in N scale and close a large gap in the vehicle fleet of 1:160 scale. The body convinces with sharp and precise engravings, which develop a pleasantly plastic effect especially on the bogies and in the door area and thus decisively contribute to the coherent appearance. The surface finish of the cars consists of a very fine paint job to which absolutely sharp contour printing has been added. Additional atmosphere is provided by optional LED interior lighting for the cars, which can be retrofitted in just a few simple steps.
