This InterMountain Railway Co. Trinity 5161 Cubic Foot Covered Hopper features a detailed injection-molded body with applied metal details, appropriate trucks with InterMountain metal wheelsets and magnetic knuckle couplers.

38" wheels are used on 150 ton capacity cars, primarily the center connection trucks on modern intermodal cars with 33" wheels at the coupler ends.

Nickel Silver Plated Brass Insulated Wheelsets These wheels follow NMRA RP-25 Standards. One wheel is insulated from the all-metal axle. The entire wheelset is non-magnetic. The axle length is 1.006" (+- .004")

Prototype: To call the Silver Streak Zephyr famous before its time would be to do the all-corrugated, slick stainless steel train a disservice. Named after a movie of the same name which featured the CB&Qs distinctive corrugated equipment, the Silver Streak Zephyr and its specially built EMD E5A unit Silver Bullet was a short distance luxury train that operated between Lincoln, Nebraska and Kansas City with stops in Omaha and St. Joseph.
