Walthers Cornerstone HO Scale Old-Time Coal Conveyors are based on those found at commercial coal yards of every size. Portable conveyors allowed coal to be unloaded quickly from waiting hoppers into wagons or trucks. They were later used to handle all types of bulk materials including grain, sand, gravel and other similar loads.
